MonaVie Juice - Scam Or Legitimate Business Opportunity?

By Brian McCoy

Have you heard about the MonaVie MLM company and are wondering whether or not it is a scam? This article will give you some information about the company, so you can decide for yourself if it's legit or not.

1.) Company

MonaVie first came to market in Jan. '05. Their product is a functional health drink that is made primarily from the Acai berry. MonaVie brought their product to market through the multi-level marketing or MLM industry.

2.) MonaVie Juice

MonaVie's product line is made with one primary ingredient - the Acai Berry. The formulations also contain a variety of over 19 different fruit juices. Similar to other "super juices", MonaVie has testimonials from product users. They report relief of negative symptoms such as headaches, arthritis, and other types of inflammatory conditions.

3.) Compensation Plan

The Mona Vie business plan is designed as a binary comp plan. The company pays out 50% of commissionable volume. One plus to the pay plan is that you only have to build 2 legs rather than 3 or 4 to be paid commissions. An example of the binary comp plan is that if you have $25,000 volume in one leg and $15,000 in the other, your commissions will be paid out on the lesser $15,000 leg.

The binary comp plan is a fairly popular plan for its simplicity and ease of use compared to other MLM plans. A significant advantage is only having to enroll 2 people to be qualified and have an opportunity to earn substantial profits.

In conclusion, MonaVie is not a scam. They seem to have a solid product and the comp plan is simple and fair. However, the main Mona Vie complaints are the competition. Their are so many "super" juices being marketed currently through MLM that the market is very competitive. You are likely to have more success with a unique product that is different from what every other MLM company is marketing. - 15790
