Prepaid Credit Cards - Review

By Laura Stenson

If you are searching for a convenient way to purchase items in stores or online without the worries of carrying cash or credit cards, a prepaid card may be your answer. They are available from MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.

How They Work

This is like using a gift card. Before you begin, you make a deposit of cash. You decide how much money to deposit. As you make purchases, ATM withdrawals, or pay bills, the balance declines.

You are able to deposit more money at anytime. And you will not have monthly bills because you pay as you go.

Who can Benefit

These can be good for anyone who doesn?t want the responsibility of keeping track of monthly bills. Parents can give their children this instead of cash. Other than being an easy way for children to make purchases on their own, they also help parents educate children about money management. They guarantee approval, so consumers with bad credit can use them with no problems. And travelers might want to use them instead of carrying large amounts of cash.

The Advantages

The financial institution that issues your card will replace it if it is stolen. You are also protected against unauthorized use.

You will always control how much money is on available. Thus, you will always know if you have enough money to make a purchase.

This is an effective way to limit spending and develop financial discipline. If you decide you would rather make a cash purchase, you can obtain cash from an ATM.

And it can be used for bill payments at any establishment that accepts online or phone transactions.

Fees

Visa, MasterCard and American Express offer several plans with varying fees. Make sure you read and understand the agreement before you select one.

There is usually a monthly transaction fee, and other fees are charged according to the structure of the plan. A plan may include fees for activation, ATM withdrawals, and individual purchase fees. Each fee is deducted from your card?s current balance.

In sum take the time to educate yourself and read the fine print before applying for any card. - 15790

Choosing Hobbies In Utah Craft Shows

By Rick Amorey

Hobbies are something we all need to do. It may be a bit of exaggeration, yes, but one needs something to occupy the idle time in their days. This will also help keep you sane. It may be a bit over the top, but it's true to a certain extent. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

What you decide to do with your free time is up to you, but I suggest that you zone in on something particular. If you try to be a jack-of-all-trades with various hobbies, you will end up mastering none of them. Certainly, it is better to be good at one thing than be mediocre in a bunch of other things. Be a dog trainer, or start a collection of some sort. But don't do both; not until you've mastered one, at least.

The most intriguing hobbies I've come across is the collection of one's own crafted pieces. It doesn't matter what crafts these are, as long as you put in considerable time and effort towards making and perfecting them, they're sure to be an object of pride. As another piece of advice, I suggest sticking to small types of crafts, as you don't want your home cluttered up with piles of them as the days go by.

Once you have collected a sufficient amount of your own craftwork, you may want to decide to show it to people. It's simply a need for recognition that is common to all of us; in much the same way that we are naturally afraid of criticism. That is why many opt to show their loved ones only. They will deliver kind praise, and if they have criticisms, they will tend to tone them down to avoid hurting you're feelings.

Don't fall for that. In the end, the most rewarding thing about making and collecting crafts of a similar theme is that you get to see people you don't know to appreciate them. Don't be afraid of the criticisms; if anything, they will help you improve your craft. So, whenever you're ready, show off those crafts in one of the many craft shows! - 15790

By Bobbie McKee

Indeed, if a credit card is used properly, it can be a powerful financial tool and an effective means of debt management as well. But not everybody can afford all the expensive rates of most credit card issuers offer. This is where the low Annual Percentage Rate (APR) credit card ushers in-to help people who plan to maintain a balance on their account and not to pay the full amount monthly.

Maximizing the potentials

To help people develop good debt management strategies, more and more companies offer low APR credit cards so people in shoestring budget can avail of its benefits.

In financial terms, APR is the cost of credit as a yearly interest rate. Users can use APR as a gauge when it comes to charges and can also be used to compare different credit and loan offers. The APR on credit cards is usually calculated monthly based on the current amount in the card. The monthly interest is calculated as if the current card balance would remain the same over a year; the interest on the amount over a year is worked out and divided by 12 to give the monthly interest. It is a must that all lenders tell the client what their APR is before signing any agreement.

Although the arrangements and terms may vary from lender to another, it is better for people to avail a low APR credit card because the lower the APR, the better the deal for them to spend more money in shopping around and in getting loans for specific projects such as house renovations and even putting up a small business.

Why opt a low APR credit card?

Low APR credit card is a good choice for people whom are into a tighter financial budgeting. It is also an ideal choice for people who are afraid of getting into debt management problems because these provides better options compared to other types of credit cards out there.

Being the most important attribute of a credit card, APR determines the significant balance over a longer period of time. In a low APR credit card, the amount of interest one must pay on his or her credit card balance depends on its APR because the lower the APR is, the better it is him or her because it means they have to pay less interest. APRs in a low APR credit card can either be "fixed" or "variable."

If you are planning to have a low APR credit card, there are so many cards that offer low APRs that can be found online. These low APR credit cards are chosen using a factoring scheme that organized these cards by computing a number of their attributes to place the best deals at the top.

Some of the questions one have to ask when looking for a low APR credit card includes the charges-if they vary or a fixed rate; and if these charges are variable because it might affect the repayments and if these rate are fixed or will it stay the same.

If you are now seeking for a low APR credit card to avoid debt management problems, you may begin looking for a scheme that could help you save hundreds in interest with a low interest credit card and low cost processing. - 15790

Some methods are unobtrusive which don't require hospitalization or overnight clinic stays. In just a couple of hours, you can already go back home and do your usually activities.

It is very important to determine whether the skin lesion is cancerous or not. Only the doctor can tell you that after a biopsy. A skin sample will be taken from your moles or warts and it will be examined in the lab. The results of the lab test will determine the appropriate procedure to remove the skin lesion.
