The Reality of Link Building

By Steve Prylon

Apparently it is here to stay: the power of the inbound link. Google values the inbound link in a powerful way. It's a vote for your site, and without the votes, you don't get that Googletrust and you don't get that ranking. Getting the right mix of links is crucial, and how to even get these links is a mystery to most, and a pain in the rear to the rest of us. But with the right effort and knowledge, you can create a logical mix of inbound links that will indicate to search engines that your site is valuable.

Of course, it goes without saying that your site should actually be worthy of the Top 10. So step one is to truly focus on your site from a visitor's point of view, not a search engine's exclusively. Only gaming the system will get you nowhere. It may get you temporary results, or it may get you banned from Google's index, but it will not work long term.

But still, it is a hard fact that is here to stay: the SEO work must be done or your site will end up ignored. Obtaining links, proper structure, not too much flash, fresh content, fresh content, add a blog, directory and articles submitted, press releases, widgets, meta tags, keyword density not too high not too low. All the basics have to be included or even that wonderful site that sells purple pillows shaped like mushrooms will not rank for 'purple mushroom pillows'. (Ok that is pretty long, maybe it would... but you get the point) There are only so many articles one can provide to their visitors about the benefits of purple mushroom pillows, and how to best care for purple pillows, and the reasons mushroom shaped pillows are the best. Early on in your SEO work, you will realize that all of this manipulation is not adding value to your visitors at all. But it just must be done.

It is reality that the incoming links are an integral part of this manipulation of your campaign for the search engines. Your link building campain will include the natural links that occur by chance (or by link baiting, adding lots of content and press releases and viral marketing). And you should balance this with a large volume of small links and a handful of heavy duty links from higher PR pages, or from some EDU links or GOV links. The sites ranking high in results have plenty of links, most likely a portion of them are paid links, it is just reality.

Link campaign tips: Keep it well rounded. Work towards a mix of high PR links and lots of smaller ones, even PR below yours. Shoot for links in content whenever possible, they are still absolutely the best. Keep the timing natural, you do not want tons of links showing up at one time, it is unnatural. Use a variety with your anchor text, do not overoptimize for one keyword. And point the anchor text to the complementary internal page, not just the homepage.

And how to get all of this done? It is daunting, and the only way to do it right is to spend an enormous amount of time on it. This is why companies are hiring these things out, and focusing on designing their site for their visitor, letting the SEO worry about the rest. - 15790

Using Products With Retinol A- Are They Anti Wrinkle Wonder Creams

By Julie Samtsonn

There are so many anti wrinkle treatments on the market today, claiming everything from being the fountain of youth to making you look like a movie star. Prices can vary dramatically and often the most expensive don't give any better results than thew cheapest. There are prescription creams and over the counter creams. The products that contain Retinol, which is a form of Vitamin A, are available in both prescription and over the counter forms. But, to understand the way they work, you need to understand the forms of Retinoic acid or Tretinoin.

Wrinkles form as you age. It is a fact of life that none of us can escape. The formation of wrinkles occurs because of some other factors, also. Heredity, excess sun exposure and smoking can all encourage wrinkles. Anti-wrinkle creams actually work on the concept of removing the dry, dead outer layer of skin from the surface of your face and by making the underlying skin plumper, increasing elastin and collagen. Some forms of the cream also introduce antioxidants.

Retinoic Acid and Tretinoin are FDA proven prescription creams that will reduce wrinkles. There are many over-the-counter treatments sold in stores and on the internet and while these products claim to contain Retinol A, it is important to understand that the FDA allows them to be sold without prescription because they do not contain enough Retinol A to be monitored. So, they are a milder form of the prescription creams that are available. That is not to say, they do not work at all, but it is important to realize that they are milder forms.

As well as this, there effects are only temporary, whether prescription or over-the-counter son once treatment is topped so do the effects. The levels of Retinoic Acid or Trtinoin from weakest to strongest begin with Retinyl palmitate (Vitamin A), Retinol A, Retinaldehyde and finally Retinoic Acid or Tretinoin (sometimes known as Retin A or Renova).

If you are observing the active ingredient list on an anti-wrinkle creams, it is necessary to compare the levels of Retinoic Acid. It is obvious of Retinyl palmitate to match the Retinol A, longer and more frequent applications of Retinol A will be needed to equal Retinaldehyde. So when comparing products, consider the levels of Retenoic Acid or Tretinoin included in the cream as it may affect outcomes.

The over-the-counter, slower process could even be a better choice for many people. The prescription levels can result in excessive redness and skin irritations. If chronic, the only solution is to stop its use. In the weaker forms, a user could experience these symptoms on a lesser scale, but it allows the skin to gradually adapt the retinoids from the Retinoic acid. Many people do the reverse, stopping their prescription and going to over-the-counter products. You may decide to consult a dermatologist and get the prescription strength. Either way, Retinoic Acid or Tretinoin, it is a proven an anti-wrinkle cream ingredient. - 15790
